Following each of the Timor Challenge events Life, Love and
Health held a concert. The free concerts included a welcome
from the District Administrator, prizes awarded to the children
that won the afternoon activities and competitions, local cultural
performances, traditional Timorese food and local and international
bands playing into the warm tropical night.
Special thanks to the bands and crew that traveled at their
own expense from Australia and Indonesia to join with the East
Timorese bands in a night of solidarity and celebration with
Timor-Leste. Thanks to Paul Kelly and Peter Garrett who took
time out from their busy schedules to be involved to the celebrations.
